Ingredients
- 1-1/2 - cups chopped cooked chicken breasts
- 1/3 - cup sliced Celery
- 1/3 - cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 - cup slivered almonds, toasted
- 2 - Tablespoons finely chopped Green Onion
- 1/2 - teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 - can (11 ounces) Mandarin Oranges, drained
- 1 - cup mixed salad greens
- 8 - slices multi-grain or whole wheat bread
- 1 - can (8 ounces) Pineapple Slices
Directions
- In large bowl, add chicken, celery, mayonnaise, almonds, green onion and garlic powder. Mix.
- Gently stir in mandarin oranges.
- Line 4 bread slices with salad greens; evenly spoon chicken salad on top.
- Place pineapple slice over chicken mixture; top with remaining bread slices.
